1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of www.theyahwehmission.org and related online services operated by The Yahweh Mission, including donation, sponsorship, volunteer, event, prayer, partnership and communication features.
By using the website or submitting information through an official Yahweh Mission form, you agree to these Terms and any additional conditions that are clearly presented for a particular program or service. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.
2. About The Yahweh Mission
The Yahweh Mission is a faith-rooted humanitarian organization serving children, families and communities through education, nutrition, healthcare, community development, emergency support, spiritual care and related charitable activities.
The Yahweh Mission is represented on its existing mission website as a U.S.-registered organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our work may also be carried out through local registrations, mission teams, contractors, volunteers, service providers or partner organizations as appropriate to a particular country or program.
3. Permitted Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful personal, informational and charitable-engagement purposes. You agree to use the website in a manner that respects the rights, dignity, safety and privacy of others, particularly children and vulnerable people.
Content on the website is provided for general informational purposes and may be updated, corrected or removed at any time.
4. Accounts, Applications and Forms
If a feature requires registration, an application or an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account where that activity results from your failure to protect your credentials.
We may request identity verification, references, background checks or additional information for roles involving children, vulnerable people, financial access, field work or positions of trust.
5. Donations, Recurring Gifts and Payment Terms
By submitting a donation, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the stated amount. If you enroll in recurring giving, you authorize recurring charges according to the frequency shown at the time of enrollment until you cancel or the arrangement otherwise ends.
Contributions to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations may be tax-deductible under U.S. law, subject to applicable rules and the donor's individual circumstances. Donors are responsible for obtaining their own tax advice.
Unless a different refund rule is clearly disclosed for a transaction, charitable donations are generally treated as final. We may consider correction requests for duplicate transactions, processing errors or clearly incorrect amounts. Any request should be made promptly using our official contact channels.
6. Child Sponsorship
Child sponsorship is a charitable support relationship and does not create adoption, guardianship, custody, employment, property or other legal rights in relation to a sponsored child or family.
Sponsorship contributions may support the sponsored child's needs together with related program, family or community services where this approach is appropriate to the program. Sponsorship descriptions are intended to explain the purpose and impact of the program and should not be interpreted as a promise that every payment is delivered directly as cash to a particular child.
Communication, gifts, visits, photographs and personal information involving children are subject to safeguarding requirements. Direct private contact outside approved mission channels is prohibited unless specifically authorized by The Yahweh Mission.
7. Volunteers, Events, Mission Visits and Field Activities
Participation in a volunteer role, event, mission trip or field visit may be subject to a separate application, screening, orientation, code of conduct, travel requirements, insurance requirements, health guidance, release forms or local rules.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection or placement. The Yahweh Mission may decline, suspend or end participation when necessary for safety, safeguarding, operational, legal or program reasons.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, participants are responsible for their own travel documents, visas, vaccinations, insurance, personal expenses and compliance with applicable laws.
8. Safeguarding and Appropriate Conduct
Because The Yahweh Mission serves children and vulnerable communities, all users, sponsors, volunteers, visitors, staff and partners must respect our safeguarding standards.
- No sexual, romantic, exploitative, coercive, abusive, humiliating or discriminatory conduct toward a child or vulnerable person is permitted.
- No private or secret communication with a child outside approved channels is permitted.
- No unauthorized collection, publication or sharing of a child's personal information, images, location or family details is permitted.
- No exchange of personal contact details, money or gifts with a child outside approved procedures is permitted.
Violations may result in immediate removal from programs, termination of access, reporting to authorities where required, and other appropriate action. Please review our Safeguarding Policy.
9. Content You Submit
If you submit comments, photographs, testimonials, prayer requests, fundraising materials or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Where you expressly authorize us to publish submitted content, you grant The Yahweh Mission a non-exclusive permission to use, reproduce, adapt and display that content for the authorized mission purpose. Sensitive stories involving children or vulnerable people remain subject to safeguarding and privacy requirements.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, design, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, downloads and other original materials are owned by or licensed to The Yahweh Mission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and share links to public pages for personal and noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce substantial content, use our name or logo for fundraising, imply endorsement, create misleading copies, scrape data, or commercially exploit our materials without permission.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deceptive activity;
- impersonate The Yahweh Mission, a child, family, donor, employee or partner;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, systems or data;
- upload malware, malicious code or disruptive material;
- harvest personal information or scrape the website in a manner that violates law or our rights;
- send spam, phishing messages or unauthorized fundraising solicitations;
- misrepresent how donations will be used; or
- use mission stories or images in a way that exploits, humiliates or endangers the people represented.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to payment processors, social platforms, video services, external resources or partner websites. We do not control independent third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms.
A link does not necessarily imply endorsement unless we clearly say otherwise.
13. Website Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. While we aim to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that every page will always be complete, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.
Stories, photographs and program descriptions illustrate mission work but should not be interpreted as guarantees of a particular outcome for any individual child, family, donor, sponsor, volunteer or community.
Website content is not legal, tax, medical, financial or other professional advice.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Yahweh Mission and those acting on its behalf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website or third-party services linked from it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
15. Responsibility for Your Conduct
You are responsible for your own unlawful use of the website and for materials you submit. To the extent permitted by law, you agree not to hold The Yahweh Mission responsible for losses caused by your fraud, unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights or violation of safeguarding requirements.
16. Applicable Law
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of Florida in relation to the U.S.-based organization, while preserving any mandatory rights or protections that apply to users in other jurisdictions.
Because The Yahweh Mission operates internationally, local program activities may also be subject to local laws, regulations and separate participation terms.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or terminate access to accounts, programs, sponsorship communications, volunteer roles or other services when reasonably necessary because of a Terms violation, safeguarding concern, fraud, security issue, legal requirement or risk to the mission or people we serve.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as our services, programs, technology and legal obligations evolve. The current version will be posted on www.theyahwehmission.org with an updated effective date.
