Rainwater harvesting offers another lifeline during the monsoon months, giving households clean storage tanks to draw from. At the same time, mothers are being taught safe storage practices so the water they collect remains pure inside their homes.
The change this brings is profound. Children once held back by illness now attend school more regularly. Parents save money otherwise spent on medicine. Families gather with peace of mind, knowing the water they serve to their children is safe.
One mother from Gonali shared her relief: “For years, we worried about our children getting sick. Now, with the filter we received, they drink water without fear. They laugh more, play more, and we can see their strength returning.”
