The Yahweh Mission School
Our first step in building a brighter future for Bangladesh’s children.
The Gonali Yahweh Mission School is the very first school we launched, born from a vision to give hope through education to children in one of Bangladesh’s most deprived villages. In Gonali, many children had been denied schooling due to poverty, long distances, and the burden of child labor, leaving them without the chance to read, write, or dream of a better future. We began humbly, starting with just 25 children, then 35, then 50, offering classes from nursery through grade five. Today, under the care of our teacher, Champa Sarkar, the school operates from a rented space six days a week, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. What started in an open field has become a growing center of learning, where children not only study but also receive guidance in nutrition, spiritual growth, village awareness, and life skills. The Gonali Yahweh Mission School represents the first step in our larger vision — building schools across Bangladesh so every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

The Gonali Yahweh Mission School is only the beginning. Our vision is to grow beyond one village and extend the gift of education to poor and marginalized children all over Bangladesh, especially within minority and Dalit communities who have been denied this opportunity for generations. We want to expand classrooms, introduce higher grades, and ensure that every child can continue their studies without interruption.
Beyond academics, our future plans include nurturing children in their spiritual life development, guiding them with values of faith, dignity, and compassion. We also aim to provide practical knowledge in health, nutrition, and community awareness, so that education is not just about lessons in books, but about equipping children to live with confidence and purpose.
In the years ahead, we dream of building permanent school facilities, creating a safe and inspiring environment where hundreds of children can learn. By investing in teachers, resources, and child-friendly infrastructure, we hope to break cycles of poverty and create a new generation of leaders. Through education, faith, and opportunity, the Yahweh Mission School will stand as a foundation for survival and a beacon of hope for the future of Bangladesh.
